These sales are held twice per year in May and November and include rare, antique and commemorative coins, gold and bullion from spade guineas to modern sovereign, proof sets, tokens, and rare banknotes.
Despite all the upheavals of 2020, we were lucky enough to be able to keep holding auctions, online only where necessary, and had some excellent results. Fresh out of the first lockdown, we sold a stunning collection of gold sovereigns and half-sovereigns including a record-breaking 1841 full sovereign for £8000 and a 1911 five-pound coin for £3,700.
